I have really enjoyed this learning experince. Somethings have been daunting however have got through it all one way or another.I ma looking froward to going back over some subjects so that I can become more familiar with them. Face book or My Space would be great for all librarians to share.

My daughter reently spent 14 days in Cuba. She had the most wonderful time, staying with a family in Vinales who ran a casa. The Life style is so different to anything that she has experienced before amd the people are so poor.The family and the extended family all lived in the one house and the grandparents lived near by.

She was intending to stay for 4 days which turned into 9 days. She then travelled to Trindad with some othr backpackers where she stayed two nights before returning to Havan and then home. cant wait to see the photos

I can see using Podcasts in a Library situation that you could make a recordng each week about whats happening at your library(storytime, lapsit etc,), book reviews, new books,happenings ofr book week, seniors week etc. The use is un ending.

I have practiced tagging and have found it very easy once I knew what to do.As I have an interest in gardening and am interested in reaerch into parkinsons disease I have saved tagged sites relating to these subjects.

In my first blog I mentioned what my family was up to . Since then we have had a football injury which will lead to an operation,one member has started a new job and is loving it and we have had a flying visit from the member who is overseas. This was a real bonus as we werent expecting this to happen.

I can see that this would be useful in a library situation when you have children coming in to look up the same information eg subjets for assignments, aboriginal studies, geography, english etc. Go through and tag all the sites relating to these subjects, then put in what you are looking for and it will sort for you.

I have really enjoyed this session. Have not really been into You Tube and Google video,however when my husband was having a very serious operation I went into Australian Story , found the topic I was looking for as they had done a story on the operation he was to have and watched the video with the Neuroligist who was treating him. This was very reassuring as you dont always take in the first time what the doctors are telling you.

I have enjoyed watching this video of Peter Fitzsimmons. Have only read Nancy Wake 'The White Mouse".

As far as promoting your library this way we (Shire Library)could do what Mosman Library has done.As I am only a branch library the need is not really there for me to do this.

I have found "wikis" so interesting.I have completed all the excercies we have ben asked to complete. I looked up my home town and have updated the information on it. I especially enjoyed the Book Lovers Wiki. The book reviews are great and I am confident in teaching members how to look up the wiki to find out information on their type of books and to read the reviews. This has been a great learning experince

I have found this session very interesting. By mistake I used google blog and I found it much easier to navigate than blogline. So I have done two exercises today and learnt a lot. I can see by using information relating to libraries that you are up to date with what is happening literacy wise all the time.

My niece and her husband live in Dubai. This is a where they have been working for 18 months but will be coming home in August. They have had enough of the heat in summer and are missing home.

Hopefully we will be going to Italy next year as part of my trip to see my daughter in England. Attached is a scene from Tuscany, a part of Italy that I would love to visit.This has been a frustrating experience but well worth the trouble. Arrivederci!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family is going through an exciting yet unknown future.My daughter is in London and is going to meet the Queen. My middle son is about to embark on a new job and my next son goes to court for DUI.
